Hattie Carroll-Ratliff, Ed.S., LPC, ACS
I am the founder and director of the private practice Carroll-Ratliff Counseling Services, LLC. I would like to share a little information about who I am and my training.
I love to be outside and around the water (beaches, lakes, rivers, pools!) This love of outdoors is sometimes useful in my sessions with people to add a change of pace or new experience if needed. I'm not afraid of getting dirty or trying things that are hard. That's how we learn the most.
I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (That's what the LPC after my name stands for). The Ed.S. after my name means Educational Specialist. I have been working in the counseling field more than 15 years. I am proud to say that I earned the title of Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and can supervise other counselors who want to become licensed. In my years of experience I have worked in schools, homes, hospitals, and office settings.
I have also completed additional training to become an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider.
Throughout my career I have worked with people of all developmental levels, but I have a passion for working with parents and people with neurological differences.
Although I work in an office, I don't like to spend all my time there and have found many great results from seeing people in their home or community. That's why I offer some non-traditional choices for services along with traditional talk-therapy.
